Hair and Makeup: Create volume is key to a full updo; Betsy used Spornette’s Little Wonder Brush to create the volume and shape of Amy’s updo pictured. Recreate a subtle eye-catching eye with a light shadow; Elisa used The Balm’s Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette to make Amy’s eyes pop, and then added a cat liner to complete the look!

Betsy and her team did a fabulous job on our first wedding together last year. As a planner, it is always a stressor to work with new vendors and in particular hair and make up artists. Typically this is the one detail that is most inclined to cause a wedding day running late. Additionally, HMU is so personal to every woman and Bride, you would hate for them not to look like themselves and feel relaxed with their appearance. Everyone looked beautiful and natural, enhanced just enough for a black tie affair. Pleasure to find a new vendor.

I produce and direct digital fitness content and this team delivers the highest quality work efficiently, professionally and with great style that holds up under hot lights and vigorous activity. Everything went perfect with BetsyElisa Beauty - when I first contacted them by e-mail, Betsy came back to me straight away. On my wedding day Shqipe came to my hotel room (even a last-minute time change was no problem) to do my hair. Shqipe is a lovely lady, we had a good chat and she gave me different options as I wasn't 100% sure on details of my hairstyle. The result was absolutely beautiful, my hair looked fantastic.
